Our Story

Spencer Sauce is a homemade BBQ sauce that was established March 2021.  Even though the base sauce has been around for a few years. I usually made it for tailgating during Kentucky State University’s homecoming or special occasions. But on March 9th I had an overwhelming feeling to name it Spencer Sauce after my son Shawn Spencer and dad James Spencer.  Making 3 versions Mild, Hot, & HOTT of my recipe and naming them after the my son, father and myself/grandmother. Which birth 19 other family members having their own flavors and degrees totaling 22. Passing history and love by sharing memories of family that’s passed on to the generations that may never hear of them.
